Thinking of moving to a rural remote location? Then read this first! Learn what you need to consider before you buy your land and homestead!
One of the recurring themes on this site is "get out of the system". I have written several posts and post parts on how I define getting out of the system; this is a summary. Further, the reader can verify what I write here is what I have written before. What is "the system"? It is anything and everything that causes you to go along with the way things are passively, to not think, deny reality, keep you uneducated, conform to the "herd" mentality, causes you to hate, causes physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, moral, as well as economic poverty. It is not daring to venture outside the box or the "matrix". It is "voting for the lessor of two evils." It is "watching many hours of TV a day" and letting TV dictate to you how and what to think and feel, and seeing what is on TV as "reality". It is "ignorance is a badge of honor." It is "consume, consume, consume." It is hate not love. It is "there is nothing I can do." It is NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY. It is DENIAL. It is the inability to deal with reality, creating ones own reality, or taking drugs to cope with it. It is succumbing to social engineering. It is "doing it because everyone else is doign it." It is dependency on the government. In the realm of spirituality it is denying spirituality or something higher than man because "rational" people cannot possibly believe in God, or, on the other hand, it is not believing what God and Christ say while pretending you do because you have your own agenda...that is, you trust men and not God, and you are not totally dependent on God. Or, you use religion to hate "those people." Or, back to the sociopolitical realm, you hate "those people." It is also being afraid. Afraid to speak out against injustice. Afraid to tell it like it is. Afraid that if you do you will "get into trouble." On the other hand, because you let the fearmonger run your thinking, you ridiculously find yourself in a group of "radicals" that just happens to be heavily infilltrated, so that you really do "get into trouble"! You advocate "revolution" without absolutely no idea of the consequences of your actions. You have no idea that "revolution" is what THEY want you to do. In other words, THEY want you to react in an emotional, unprepared way in which THEY have all the advantages. The "game" THEY have you in IS the system, which THEY created. (Think: "The Matrix", but with humans, not machines or aliens, running it)
And who is THEY? THEY are, collectively, the keepers of the game. Sometimes I call them "Illuminati" or "oligarchs" or "new world order crowd". Included in this bunch are lackeys and willing patsies. CFR. Trilateral Commission. Bilderburgers. Club of Rome. Skull and Bones. And I am sure you will add your own pet "secret societies" to this list.
I do NOT think the solution is violent revolution. (Yet I do believe that this might actually happen because THEY really are getting careless. Having relied on "gradualism" all these years, and not being able to set up the completion of their game in about 5,000 years, THEY have to speed up the game because events are passign THEM by and THEY are catching up, even doing so at the rate that THEY are damning the consequences. Further, some of their lackeys and other insiders are doing a number on the ones who started the game in the first place. Thus THEY are now split into two camps: the old "Illuminists" (the royal families of Europe, the old Rothschilds, the Rockefellers, Morgans and the rest of the "old money"), and the "new money crowd" that is mainly made up of financial criminals similar to what Christopher Story writes about. I think the solution is to either get out of the system completely (off the grid, and living without social security numbers, driver licenses, papers of any kind), or, since most people can't or won't go that far, to get out of the system as much as you can.
What we have done is create a homestead--I call it the "sane asylum", using a rather small amount of money and a lot of backbreaking labor to do it. My exact words were: "get your rural remote land, do the back breaking labor it takes to plant your garden, spend your rapidly depreciating dollars on chickens and other livestock (just a few animals that you can afford to feed or grow feed for), build your animal enclosures and fences, grow your fruits and veggies, and grow enough so you can trade your extras for what you need, such as cow's milk, goat cheese, eggs, whatever." I have said that far west Texas is the ideal place to do this and gave several reasons. I then said doing this sort of thing was a better alternative to "doing something" (violent, that is, or other collective behavior that THEY would infilltrate and control) because while the "doers" would be getting rounded up by agents of THEM, you would be hunkered down and out of THEIR way. Let everyone else riot, loot, get shot at, get put into Halliburton camps, incite (bogus) revolution, and the like. You, the "remnant" that is out of the system, will be safe, at least for a while. Finally, since you will have guns and ammo you will at least be able to put up a fight.
I give other recommendations here about what it means to get out of the system. Since the financial system THEY created--fiat money and debt-as-money using a "credit" system that actually means debt, which, by the way, is designed so that one can NEVER get out of debt, ever--is about to do something nasty, perhaps a barter system can be set up in the local community. Most of all, GET OUT OF DEBT and stop consuming, consuming, consuming! Further, I provide nine suggestions to do if you cannot get out of the cities/suburbs. And here is the post where I explain what to look for if you are going to escape out of the populated areas, but don't want to move to the southwest.
Then there is the Out Rising Series. In Part 1 I put the responsibility on US, "We the People" to escape THEIR system and start our own. In Part 2 I say to get rid of whatever or whoever it is you hate, because hate is what THEY want you to have. In Part 3 I make the case for outrising spiritually.
Finally, in an early 2007 post, I list ten items you must have in order to make the move and live prosperously even on little income. They are: rainwater collection devices, wood burning stove, chain saw, axe, flat land, compost pile, water well/pump system, matural air cooling system, double-paned windows, septic system. And to that list I add: guns, ammo, stored food, and a water filtration system that will allow you to drink some of that rainwater you collected, pond water, etc.
I will end this with a slogan I use often because it is really the way I look at life: HOPE FOR THE BEST AND PREPARE FOR THE WORST!
