Too Bad Palin is Such a Tool

When I said in my last newsletter that Daily Kos found out the Palin was a "Dominionist" well it made my blood boil. Kos himself, of course, is not the most reliable news source on the planet, and I truly believe he's into CIA type psy-ops (as are the majority of alternative news aggregators and bloggers). Perhaps I over-reacted, but I think not, and, until I find out conclusively Sara Palin is not a Dominionist, I have seen nothing to make me believe she isn't. The website of her former church in Wasilla has been down, but if you look at some of the sermons of the pastor there some of his positions, while not sounding particularly "Dominionist" are extreme, and moreso, hateful. The Huffington Post (yes, I know, liberals run it--but look at the quotes from her pastor!) was able to download some of Pastor Kalnins' sermons (before the site was closed for "bandwidth" reasons) and if nothing else read what this man says. As with any other pastor, he or she does influence the religious leanings of his or her congregation. And it is clear by her own quotes (the one about "sending our soldiers out on a task that is from God", which is little different from Bush's "God told me to strike Iraq"), that she and her former pastor agree at least on the war and "God's role" in it. At this site you can read about how her old pastor claimed that Christians who voted for John Kerry in 2004 "might lose their salvation" and that Christians who criticised Bush would burn in hell for eternity. And other stuff about Jesus "the terminator" (in a sense that is true...but it's funny how those who wish the wrath of God on others have a tendency to have it come down on themselves. This is not in the Bible per se but it is true nevertheless: what goes around comes around. In the Bible there is this: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Same thing. It's also called the "Golden Rule," but these days we go under a different "golden rule": "he who has the gold makes the rules."). But what about her new Pastor, Larry Kroons of the Wasilla Bible Church? According to "Brother Nathanael Kapner," a former Jew who converted to Russian Orthodox, Kroons is probably not a Christian Zionist (or Dominionist, for that matter), and Kapner believes that this is a good sign. Maybe he is right and I hope he is right, but still...

And remember at nearly the close of my points for Palin I said that another good thing about her is that she isn't AIPAC. Well, THAT'S GONE BY THE WAYSIDE! Anyone want to bet on the number of days it'll take for her to join this group? Maybe, she already has. Anyway, her pastor had the head of "Jews for Jesus" give a sermon a few weeks ago saying that there would be terrorist attacks on Israelis as God's "judgment of unbelief" of Jews who haven't embraced Christianity." Interesting, because I have reported here and on my Christ blog that Messianic Jews have been persecuted in Israel...does that mean that God's "judgment" on Israel is also on Jews for Jesus there? But, here's the rub. This is the United States, and McCain/Palin and Obama/Biden are running for President/Vice President of the United States, so just why in the freakin' hell are these people constantly pandering to the 2 percent of the United States that is Jewish? Why in the freakin' hell are these folks acting like they are running for President/Prime Minister of Israel??? Are my subscribers as fed up with this as I am??

Folks, like her or hate her, Sara Palin is a TOOL. Screw her "populism"! Screw her "anti-establishmentarianism"! SHE'S A FREAKIN' TOOL!!! For a "less ranting" commentary on how McCain is using a woman who in other circumstances might make a decent President (especially is she is not Dominionist), read Chuck Baldwin's take here. And, for a poll result (Garin-Hart-Yang Research Group), saying that Palin is becoming a turn off for women voters who are more likely to vote Obama-Biden, click here. Simply put, women don't like the fact that she is anti-abortion even in cases of rape or incest. I too, of course, am anti-abortion. But this whole "Biblical Rachel died during childbirth (to Benjamin); so should American women" bit is even too much for me. As with most other issues, having no exceptions to the anti-abortion position may sound great but in fact will never be upheld in the real world. That is, if a woman wants an abortion she will get an abortion, no matter what Palin says! Palin's position on abortion, is, in fact, the Dominionist position.

And I will end this short newsletter with some links to videos of police/military tactics on RNC protesters. When I was watching the Amy Goodman Democracy Now! videos on Link TV the other day I was reminded of the protests at the DNC in Chicago in 1968. Folks, that was then and this is now. Tear gas, then. Grenades, now. Grenades??? Grenades!!! Now these grenades do not kill, only blind and traumatize. That's not the point. People, we have FINALLY CROSSED THE LINE!
